Treatment of low back and leg pain: take chili powder, Vaseline (according to 1:1) or chili powder, vaseline, white flour (according to 2:3:1) and add appropriate amount of yellow rice wine into paste. When used, apply it on oilpaper and stick it on affected part, and fix it with adhesive tape. 65 cases were treated, 25 cases were effective, 23 cases were obviously effective, 1 case was symptomatic disappearance, 16 cases were ineffective. Most of the patients had local fever within 15-30 minutes and local burning sensation after 1 hour. Some patients had tactile inductance. The sensation of fever and burning usually lasts for 2-24 hours, 48 hours, and has a general sensation of heat and sweating. Generally, after applying the medicine, the sensory joints are flexible and soft, with a sense of lightness. 3. Treatment of chilblain and frostbite: Chop 1 or 2 chili peppers, 2 or 2 frozen wheat seedlings, add 2000-3000ml water, boil for 3-5 minutes, and remove dregs. The broken ones are wrapped in several materials to keep warm. 200 cases were treated, 188 cases were cured, 8 cases were effective and 4 cases were ineffective. Chop 30 grams of hot pepper and add 250g of melted vaseline. Continue boiling and rolling for 10-15 minutes. Strain out the hot pepper. Add 15g of camphor and mix well. At the beginning of frostbite, rub the affected area (which has been unavailable) until the local heat sensation, 2-3 times a day.
4. Treatment of traumatic stasis: use red pepper to dry and grind into a very fine powder, add 1:5 into the melted vaseline and stir evenly, until the spicy smell, cooling and solidification will become ointment. Applicable to sprain, injury, bruise caused by subcutaneous bruising and joint swelling and pain, apply to the local, daily or every other day dressing change once. Twelve cases were treated, 7 cases were cured, 3 cases were relieved, and 2 cases were ineffective. Effective cases were treated 4-9 times.
